Spaz Reviews: Badlands - Seleste deLaney

I'm at WLP talking Badlands by Seleste deLaney! Come join me!

So, yeah, Seleste deLaney might be our fellow review bitch, but I've been wanting to read Badlands forever! So, I did, I loved it and I wrote a review. Like to hear it? Here it go!

Steampunk for me is one of those genres, very much like Science Fiction, that I can take or leave. I usually end up reading the genre only if a specific book or series has been recommended to me a billion times that I make an exception. And only if there is some Romance up in there. I have little to no experience with the genre, so I didn’t know what to really expect when I picked up Badlands. Sooo, I might have had to look up a few words in the dictionary like dirigible and tintype /coughcough/ but the setting wasn't intimidating for me at all. I felt immediately scooped up and placed in to the Badlands along with our heroine Ever. Continue reading...

Spaz Reviews: Iron Crowned - Richelle Mead

My new review of Iron Crowned (Dark Swan #3) by Richelle Mead is up at WLP! Join me!
Iron Crowned is the much anticipated third book in Richelle Mead’s Dark Swan series. The series follows Eugenie Markham, newly made Queen of the Thorn Land and daughter to the epically feared Storm King. Spaz Reviews: Dreams of a Dark Warrior - Kresley Cole

My new review of Dreams of a Dark Warrior by Kresley Cole is up at Wicked Lil Pixie!

Spaz: Where do I even begin to write my review on this gem of magic?

WLP: I have no idea Pam, where do you begin? I wouldn’t know where since I haven’t read the mother fucking series yet. Ahem. (Can you tell Pam’s been on me to read this series?)

Spaz: Booooooooo! It is the best Paranormal Romance series of all time. Of all time!

WLP: Okay Kanye.

Rock out with your cocks out! - Regin the Radiant

Dreams of a Dark Warrior is the tenth novel in the Immortals After Dark series, and has been eagerly anticipated by us shameless fangirls who gush over every Kresley Cole book (there’s a reason, I promise!). You would think that with expectations this high, and a series that has lasted this long, the magical steam would be running dry. You would be wrong. When I started the book I thought, “Bring it!” When I finished this book I thought, “Oh it has been broughten!” Ms. Cole has done it again, my friends. Continue reading....

Spaz Reviews: Etched in Bone - Adrian Phoenix

My new review of Etched in Bone (Makers Song #4) by Adrian Phoenix is up over at Wicked Lil Pixie Reviews. Come visit me!
Etched in Bone is the fourth book in Adrian Phoenix’s Makers Song series. Do not, I repeat, do not try to read it as a stand-alone novel and hope to wing it (pun intended)! You will undoubtedly still enjoy it, but you will sacrifice the full experience of this mind-blowing ride. Start with the first book of the Maker Song series, A Rush of Wings, and I promise you will be in for one heart-racing experience. Ms. Phoenix does not around; you are dropped into the story right from the get-go where the third book, Beneath the Skin ended, and are expected to keep up.
