Q: 1st, I just started CRAVE and wondered if you could explain again the relationship between Matthias and Jim and 2nd, how much if any of an impact Torh’s story have on BHood?
A: The relationship between Jim and Matthias only get more complicated As Crave goes on but I’m not going to say anything more because you're not finished yet. And as for Torh – his HEA effects him deeply, that’s for sure. And his Brothers just want him to be happy, you know? They’ve watched him suffer for so long. So they’re glad when it happens.
Q: You said that Xhex will make a tattoo with John’s name – will we see it in Lover Unleashed?
A: She has it now that’s for sure.
Q: How did Devina know that Matthias was the right soul to save or condemn when Jim and his boys didn’t?
A: This is a spoiler, but I will answer. She’s like Nigel. So she knows. And Nigel knows. But unlike him, she cheats.
Q: Why is Jim so much more powerful than Adrian and Eddie?
A: Jim is more powerful than Adrian and Eddie but he doesn’t have the experience so he defo needs them, but he’s the Chosen One. It’s a different role but they are indispensable, if that makes sense?
Q: Will Blay become a Brother?
A: HMMM will Blay become a brother. I’m not sure. He still fights, that much I know. But I haven’t seen it yet – doesn’t mean that it won’t happen, just not in the immediate future.
Q: Will there be an update on the stories of all the Brothers? And who is after Payne?
A: Well its happening slowly. There’s been a Wrath update. And you see a ton of V in Lover Unleashed. And I get the sense that there are going to be updates in future books. But there are also the short stories like the one with Rhage and Mary and then the other with Wrath and Beth. Well, I’m working on the Rhage one now. But soon. Ohoh like a new Insider’s Guide? You’ve have to ask Braveheart. He’s in charge of those, was his idea for the first one. And I imagine we’ll do another at some point. {No answer from Braveheart}
Q: My question is if you intend to give us more info into the Xhex/Mhurder relationship in Manny/Payne’s book before giving us Mhurder’s book and how will Mhurder’s return affect JM and Xhex's relationship?
A: AHHH Good Question. There’s too much V in Lover Unleashed to do more on other people but you will defo see Mhurder again and so will Xhex.
Q: I’m just gonna ask a simple question will we see any improvement in Q and B’s relationship in LU?
A: LOLOLOL WELLLLLLLLLLLLL Depends on what you consider an improvement... You defo see them but they are not together that’s for sure. But no lose faith!
Q: Will Q and B have their own book?
A: Well it looks as if they will get their own novella, but listen "novella" is relative, feel me? The thing is, if it focuses on them, I assure you, it will cover -ahem- everything, if you know what I mean? I’m just saying my publisher seems open to the idea of a novella it still needs to be fleshed out but it looks positive at this point, but its going to be a little while. I’ll keep everyone posted.
Q: As for Jim trying to find Cissy she is she is “eternal search” and his “quest” for his soul? And does he get an HEA?
A: Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah very good question – gets tackled by blue smurf rope mmmmmmmmmrro that’s all I got on that one.
Q: In the next BDB book will certain Brothers (coughcoughVutch) give in to their cravings and leave shellans heartbroken?
A: Cravings – interesting choice of words – sometimes what you need you don’t crave but you have to have it anyway – that’s all I can say, but no worries, k?
Q: Why is it that Devina seems to have a relationship with each of the souls? Did she know who they might be before the deal was made to have Jim try to save them?
A: Let’s just say that Devina has an inside track but it’s not greater than what Nigel has, they’re equal in knowledge although of course not in ethics. Still Adrian and Eddie are outside the rules, the question for me is, if both sides are cheating…. What then? ;)
Q: Are Colin and Nigel a couple and have we met the next soul in any of your other books?
A: HEH HEH HEH HEH Um I think the nature of Colin and Nigel’s relationship was shown ;)
Q: Are we getting any new brothers? If so can we get one name?
A: There are some more vampires showing up and you’ll meet them in unleashed and they are - Smurf Robe Smuthers... XCOR (pronounced Core)
Q: Who’s after Payne??
A: Right now I don’t know, but I’m like…. Ummmm boys? Hello? I’m pulling into the end of Lover Unleashed and erhm…. Should you tell me who’s next? But is quiet right now, so that’s all I got!
Q: So Devina’s therapist… will we see more of her as in she’s an important character later?
A: OMG you so totally will but important is relative – oh she is a relative? – I don't say nuthun!
Q: Is No’One’s name a play on her being the daughter of Sampson? And does she mate any of the Brothers? coughcoughTohr?
A: LOL LOL LOL LOL I’m not allowed to say Dick about No'One – *feels the heat of LeLee stare on the back of my neck* CC she nearly killed me in Radcliff.
Q: Please tell us Vutch girls we'll get something, anything, with these two! Even a kiss, anything! And there’s a lot of talk that maybe V have a final goodbye in LUn – Any info coming up on Rhev?
A: Well there’s something of Butch and V – I’ll tell you that. I love Rehv too and I think that his role as head of sympath is going to be very interesting to see. And the reason I want to do a Qhuay novella is so I can show the inside of the cupboard, as it were.
Q: What is Manny’s ethnicity? And how is Butch feeling right now considering everything that happens at the moment?
A: Manny’s Mother is Italian and Butch right now??? Is feeling a lot of Black, um, Ima blue rober that one lol
Q: Is it possible that once the battle is over that Cissy will be Jim’s HEA? You mentioned that Trez and iAm will get their own books is that still the plan?
A: I’m going to keeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep reading Cissy, and Jim but yes Tres and iAm I would love to write their books and I know who iAm ends up with and you haven’t met her, no.
Q: Can you tell us another one of the new vampires name in LU, besides Xcor? And what’s up with the painting on the ceiling of the warriors and angels?
A: The painting is something that Darius loved, he was the one who commissioned it, and sometimes Lassiter sees Wellslie in it.
Q: Is the Scribe Vigin fading and if so wouldn’t the Omega fade a long with her bc they are connected in a sense?
A: The Omega is going strong, while the SV fades, the question is, if she disappears, what then??? I think I’ll leave it at that.
Q: Were Adrian and Eddie human once like Jim? And what did you mean THIRD angel in Unleashed?
A: And Ad and Eddie’s backstory gradually comes out, and it’s a keeeeeeeeep reeeeeeading
Q: Adrian’s piercings – list ‘em –
A: Let’s just say he’s into chains kind of like Lassiter is, he and Qhuin and Lassiter are the kind of pin cushions – looks better without clothes on... sall im saying.
Q: Is there a connection or similarity between the Omega’s black oily things and Devina’s? Are they the souls of those that they have killed?
A: And the Omega’s creatures are not unlike Devina’s but just his private ones, in his lair, not Lessers up above so there are crossovers at that level. I still see the worlds as separate, but who can say what the future holds, I only see so far ahead.
Q: How are Nalla, Bella, and Z, what is up with them lately?
A: They are doing great, so well in fact, that Mary’s… well been a bit transformed :/ But it will work out for her, you’ll see in the shortie, which PS: is not going to be short LOLOL
Q: Have you ever entertained writing the future generations?
A: That’s a good question. I think it would make a great slices of life! Or like a flash forward in a bigger book? I want to write Nalla’s. OMG can you imagine Z??? And I love Phury’s lil guy *melts*.
Q: I find it interesting that Butch and Manny have same drink preference?
Well he wanted some LAG that was for sure, but he denied denied denied liking it in Unbound. Perhaps he’s had a change of heart? After a little mind fucking? Courtesy of Vishous, and the end of Unbound LOLOLLOLOL You’ll see how his mind does not do well. And that things well Shit goes into the Shitter.
Q: Do we get to see Ad’s HEA and does he end up being one of the souls saved?
A: Well you see more of Ad defo, and what a pleasure that is.
Q: Are Rhage and Mary going to adopt from a human orphanage or do vampires have their own?
A: No defo not a human. Nope Nope Nope, they wouldn’t want one of those - but they do find a way:D
Q: I wanted to know what your fave scene/chapt was to writer, but now I want to know about V messing with Manny’s head and Manny being more like Butch, do we get a lil V/Butch/Manny triangle?
A: V has enough of triangles already. ;) Manny gets his memory erased a number of times and what happens is that it changes him. Until he’s literally rendered useless. And then you’ll have to see what happens. :D You never know what’s inside or what’s covered up.
Q: Will Beth go through her needing in Lover Unleashed or is that a big keep reading?
A: The second shortie should be finished next year but I don’t know yet when the book will be scheduled and nice one about little Wrath, keeeep readddding
Q: What is the significance of the Fallen Angels appearnces? Lassiter is all golden bling rings, and Adrian is gunmetal hardcore? Why? What powers do their rings have besides protection?
A: I’m going to keeeeeeeeeeeep reading that one, other than nakey (naked) is better, sall I’m saying.
{side note} God is defo not Devina’s therapist and Devina… she barters for things and she does want Jim so I fear he will have to do some things he doesn’t want to. I worry that over time that’s going to eat away at him you know? So I worry… :( And right now I can see some casual crossovers between the two series!
Q: Has Tohr met his mate yet?
A: I think he needs someone and I’m not sure when his book is coming I don’t want it to be after Manny and Payne, I want more time to prepare for it, but we’ll see.
Q: How can the King and Beth have a child now? Beth’s too young of a vampire to go in to her needing True? What’s the beef with Lassiter and V? Also, is Butch’s father still alive?
A: Beth is a half breed – so her needing is different, and the rest are keeeep reeeeeeeadinggg.
